Inspiring Homes: Pink Accents
I never thought I'd post photos of a pink home, but I think this accent colour works particularly well in this simple white home (styled by Alvhem). I am a big fan of all the artwork on the walls, the HAY furniture and the desk (and of course the Arne Jacobsen Ant Chair!) -- but unfortunately this home has already been sold a while ago ;)

Sneak Peek: H&M Home Autumn 2014 (Updated)
Here's a sneak peek of the expected H&M Home autumn 2014 collection. I've made a selection, feel free to check all the items here. I see a lot of marble (I guess they stole the idea for the duvet cover from Ferm Living..) dip-dye, brass and copper. I must admit that I'm not much of a marble fan, but I'm also unsure whether we will still love these passing trend items by the time autumn comes around.. I think the double sided frame is original though and I really like the interesting geometrically shaped candle holder! What do you think?

Great Design: Favourite Things Lamp by Chen Karlsson
I have a weak spot for truly original design and this Favourite Things lamp is a great example. It immediately grabbed my attention the first time I saw it! This wonderful lighting fixture has both Scandinavian and Asian roots. It was designed by the designers of the young design studio Chen Karlsson, which consists of two couples: Tina and Johan Karlsson from Stockholm and Chen-Yen and Hung-Ming Chen (who originate from Taiwan). I think this great combination of northern functionalism and the Asian eye for detail works! What I love about this lamp is that you can customize it to your own taste! The possibilities of this creativity-enhancing lamp are endless: you can use it as a showcase and fill it with that beautiful vintage find, your favorite designer accessory (miniature Vitra miniature chairs?) or your kids' toys. Compact Living: One Bedroom Apartment in Sweden (50m2)
As a person who has to live in a compact way herself (40m2) I'm always inspired by relatively small apartments that feel more spacious than they actually are. This apartment in Linnestaden (Sweden) is a good example I think. The abundance of white furniture (and the white walls and floors) make the apartment light and breezy! Enjoy your weekend everyone!
